When we arrived at the Kata event we didn't expect to be so excited when we got a little glimpse of the tablet. Our excitement was undermined when the T4 was finally announced in flesh in blood where we could have our hands-on on it. The build quality and design is spectacular where majority of its body made of aluminium with polycarbonate details.

Audio

Over all Picture Quality: Passable

Battery

Longetivity depends on activity.
E-book reading: lasts more than the working day
Productivity like E-Mail, Word Processing and Web Browsing: lasts four to six hours
Local and online video consumption: lasts for three to four hours

Camera

Main Camera: Passable Performance - Fast Shutter, Visible Noise, Passable Color reproduction and Dynamic Range and frustrating low-light performance
Secondary Camera: Passable Selfie Camera except when in low-light conditions

Software

Kata Skin is near stock
Easy to Navigate and little learning curve
Built-in VPN subscription service to use the services Netflix, History, FoxNow and the like within the Philippines
Built-in Kata Apps are a hit or miss

Performance

Most Apps runs smoothly but slower than flagships
Modern Non Graphic Intensive games work well
Modern Graphics Intensive games stutter and fall apart

What We Liked:

Build Quality
Value - Bang per buck is high

Perfect alternative for E-Book reading
Built-in VPN subscription service works but at a price

What We didn't Like:

8GB starting storage when tablet is marketed for media consumption
Audio Volume could be better
Netflix, History, FoxNow, The CW and the like are a hit or a miss even when VPN service is active

1024 by 768 Resolution. Display Pixel density should start at 1080P standard for a product marketed for media consumption

Recommendations:

Great for E-book reading and light productivity
If you are willing to compromise on media consumption quality then this is the best for the price!
